Future Shorts is a worldwide film festival as well as a distributor, sales agent, consultancy service and DVD label. This is fresh cinema, Future Shorts.

Future Shorts Exhibition works as a worldwide short film festival providing an alternative system to the traditional film festival model. Filmmakers have the chance to get their work seen all over the world from just one submission. Films that are selected to join our monthly programme are currently being shown at 15 UK venues ­ both theatrical and non-theatrical.
The international network currently comprises of more than 60 cities and 18 countries worldwide conducting regular Future Shorts screenings. Future Shorts Exhibition aims to provide an alternative cinematic experience, where screenings are often accompanied by other multimedia elements including live music and rescores, performers and installations.

In a sequel to his multi-award winning Sportsman's Night, Damian revisits the dysfunctional Bodgy Creek Roosters Football Club.

The township has seen better days - the mill's closed; the Tidy Town sign has fallen into the long grass and the weir is as dry as a spinster's gusset. The dying town is about to claim its next
victim.

Unable to field even one full side, the footy club will either have to fold or merge with their arch rivals - the Hudson's Flat Redbacks. But prodigal son coach Troy Carrington has other ideas; to save the club and serve his socially aware agenda, he embarks on a programme to recruit players from the Asylum Seekers Refuge Centre.

Will the new players cope with pre season training while fasting for Ramadan? Damian tells the Roosters' story in a series of hilarious character monologues, from Tu the ehtnic hmong flautist, to boisterous brute Bull Barlow, the Roosters' president, to his cinematically inclined grandson, Neil.

Roman Rudnysky - International Concert Pianist

Rudnytsky in an internationally active concert pianist of Ukrainian background whose frequent performances take him all over the world - to every continent and places in-between. He is in fact one of the most travelled of all concert pianists, having played in more countries than almost all others. As of 2010, he has performed in about 95 countries - more countries than most classical performers of any kind have played in.

In addition to performances in capital cities and important musical centres, he often plays in places away from the musical mainstream, bringing the world and pleasure of classical music to audiences which seldom experience this type of music in live performance. He has received much acclaim in the world's press and many reinvitations.

Born in New York into a prominent Ukrainian musical family, he began the study of piano at age 4 and gave his first full recital at age 7. He is a graduate of the famous Juilliard School in New York and also did additional studies at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland and at

masterclasses in Austria (the "Mozarteum") and Italy.

Mr. Rudnytsky is a prize-winner in 10 piano competitions, including such prestigious ones as the International Leventritt Competition (New York) and International J.S. Bach Competition (Washington) and, in Italy, the "F.Busoni" and "A. Casagrande" International Piano Competitions. He has made numerous recordings in Poland, Australia and the United States.

In addition to his many recitals, Mr. Rudnytsky has also appeared as a soloist with many orchestras around the world. To date, he has played over 45 different works for piano and orchestra with them. A great honour indeed, he gave the British, Latin American and Australian premiere performances of the recently-discovered Liszt "Concerto No. 3 in E Flat" between 1990 and 1993.

He also conducts master classes and workshops for local piano students and teachers during the course of his travels. The settings for these range from universities to small, rural towns and villages.

Since 1984, he has played concerts and conducted master classes in more than 35 countries under the auspices of US Embassies---in a number of them: repeatedly.

Since 1972, Mr. Rudnytsky has been a member of the piano faculty of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio (U.S.A.). He is a recipient of that institution's "Distinguished Professor Award" in recognition of his concert activities. He previously served on the piano faculties of the Indiana University School of Music (Bloomington, Indiana) and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory, in addition to being "Artist-in-Residence" at two Australian universities.
